Residential Property Paralegal
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting solicitors with residential property transactions, including sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity
- Preparing legal documents such as contracts, leases, and transfers
- Conducting property searches and preparing reports
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, and mortgage lenders
- Managing case files from instruction to completion
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory and firm policies
- Providing general administrative support to the property team
- Previous experience in a residential property paralegal role (minimum 1-2 years)
- Some commercial property experience would be beneficial but not essential
- Strong knowledge of the conveyancing process
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- A proactive approach and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Proficiency in using case management systems
- Progression- training contract looked at post probation
