Recruitment Advisor (MAT Cover)

Primary objective of the job:
As key member of the Recruitment Team at White Stuff and member of the wider people team, this role will manage and support vacancies within our London HQ, Leicester DC and Customer Centre. A specialist position within the team, you will be experienced in various direct sourcing methods to attract and engage the best talent to White Stuff whilst partnering with key stakeholders to improve our attraction and selection capacity.
This is a MAT cover FTC position starting beginning of October.
What you’ll be doing:
· Responsible for the sourcing and attraction of high quality candidates for positions across all departments in HQ, DC and CC at entry and junior level, using all available resources and tools, including direct sourcing, job boards, talent pools, social media and networking.
· Lead end-to-end recruitment for roles, from briefing, to advertising, screening, supporting in interviews when necessary and to offer while providing the best candidate experience at each stage.
· Arranging and confirming all candidate interviews; providing appropriate and required information to both hiring manager and candidate.
· Updating candidates in a timely manner with constructive feedback.
· Responsible for managing internal recruitment process and advertising.
· Development of talent pipe line for challenging or hard to recruit roles.
· Build strong relationships with stakeholders, regular communication with vacancy updates and general expert advise of market insights.
· Support wider People team with Apprentice, Placement, Internships and Work Experience where necessary.
· Contribute and support activity for, the wider Talent Attraction and Employer Brand activities with Recruitment Partner
· Experience using an Applicant Tracking System for recruitment processes.
· Manage Agency PSL relationship where applicable
· Work alongside Recruitment Coordinator where applicable and to support each other through peak recruitment periods and external events representing White Stuff
What you’ll need:
· A clear passion for resourcing and recruitment and desire to attract, engage and recruit leading talent in a cost effective, timely manner and a tenacious approach to direct sourcing.
· Proven experience within head office recruitment.
· Experienced within multiple direct sourcing methods; utilizing advertising, cv banks, social media, talent pipelines and headhunting.
· Experience within a Recruitment Agency or internal environment with proven record of success and operating at pace/volume with effective stakeholder/client engagement.
· Strong interpersonal skills; ability to communicate appropriately where necessary both internally and externally.
· Understanding of UK Retail Market; competitors, structures, competencies and recruitment practises with astute interviewing and assessment skills.
