Quality Technologist
As a key part of the food technical team, you will provide support and assist the Technical Manager in driving compliance across the food production site to the required Food Safety, Legality, Quality, and product integrity standards.
Key tasks
- Support quality systems, audits, and HACCP reviews to maintain high standards.
- Oversee lab testing, hygiene protocols, and manage the hygiene team.
- Handle supplier approvals, product specifications, and customer complaints.
- Assist operations in following company, customer, and BRC standards.
About You
- Quality assurance or technical experience in a food manufacturing/food production environment
- Ideally educated to a degree level in food science, food technology, or another related subject.
- BRC/ISO internal auditing experience are required.
- Level 2 Food Hygiene and HACCP qualifications would be a bonus but non-essential.

The Quality Technologist job (ref: 8955) is paying £28,000 - £30,000 per annum according to your experience.
The site is based in North Kent and is commutable from areas of both London and Essex.
The package includes 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, pension, life assurance, employee assistance programme plus other company benefits.
The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm or 8.30am to 5.30pm.
