SRM Opportunity

As a Senior Research Manager, you'll lead high-profile research projects from design through to delivery, ensuring exceptional quality, commercial success and strong client relationships. You'll play a central role in connecting project teams, clients and senior leadership while contributing to business growth through account development and proposal writing.

As a Senior Research Manager you will take responsibility for leading projects, working with the HRW research and operations teams to design and deliver quality projects, resourcing them effectively and running them smoothly and efficiently through excellent communications both internally and with our clients. A Senior Research Manager will consistently develop client relationships, play a key role in business development by understanding account strategies, attending client meetings and writing persuasive proposals. A Senior Research Manager will be a lynch pin between the wider research team and the senior management team.

What You'll Be Doing

Research Leadership

• Lead end-to-end research projects, ensuring quality, efficiency and client satisfaction.
• Manage project budgets and financial performance.
• Deliver clear, actionable insights, recommendations and implications.
• Guide and support project teams, delegating effectively and ensuring deadlines are met.
• Share learning and best practice across the business.
• Moderate qualitative research and attend fieldwork in the UK and internationally when required.
• Proactively identify and resolve project challenges.

Client & Business Development

• Build strong, long-term client relationships.
• Develop a deep understanding of client objectives and account strategies.
• Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and generate new business.
• Lead client meetings and act as a trusted advisor.
• Write compelling proposals and research solutions that win work.
• Contribute to account planning and business development initiatives.

Requirements

What you'll bring

This role is ideal for an experienced healthcare researcher who is ready to take ownership, build strong client partnerships and play a key role in an ambitious, growing business. We're looking for someone who combines research excellence with commercial thinking, leadership potential and a genuine team-first approach.

• Agency-side healthcare market research experience, with exposure to both qualitative and quantitative methodologies.
• Proven ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously, delivering high-quality work on time and within budget.
• Strong client management skills, with experience building trusted relationships and identifying opportunities for growth.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills, both written and verbal.
• Commercial awareness and experience contributing to proposals and business development activities.
• Strong analytical thinking, with the ability to translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations.
• A collaborative approach, with experience supporting and developing junior team members.
• Curiosity, creativity and a passion for delivering impactful research.
