Experienced School HR Professional?
We work with schools across Bromley that regularly need additional HR support at short notice. When a member of staff is absent or the HR workload increases, schools often need someone who can step in quickly and get on with the job.
We're therefore looking to hear from experienced HR Officers who are available for temporary work and would value the flexibility of full-time or part-time assignments.
The Work
Depending on the school's needs, you could support with:
Recruitment and onboarding
Safer recruitment checks
DBS and right-to-work administration
Maintaining the Single Central Record
Updating employee records and HR systems
Contracts and new starter documentation
Absence and attendance administration
Supporting employee queries
General HR administration
Providing support to the HR Manager and senior leadership
What We Need From You
Previous HR experience within a school is essential. You'll need to understand the importance of confidentiality, safeguarding and accurate record keeping within an education setting.
You must have:
✔ A clear DBS
✔ DBS on the Update Service, or issued within the last 6 months
✔ Previous school-based HR experience
✔ Strong administration and communication skills
✔ Good IT and HR systems knowledge
✔ Flexibility around full-time and part-time work

Assignments may range from short sickness cover to longer-term temporary positions, depending on what our schools need.
