Supply Chain Manager

Shaw Trust
London

“Shaw Trust promotes team spirit, inclusiveness and it is an organisation where everybody is somebody. I am proud to be part of this great organisation.”

At Shaw Trust we believe everyone has the right to live a decent and dignified life and an opportunity for rewarding work. We are a social purpose organisation challenging inequality and breaking down barriers to enable social mobility.

For us being part of the solution is about creating the conditions for this to happen, advocating and delivering services that make a real difference. This includes building and maintaining relationships with community and specialist partners to provide MSK Trailblazer participants with suitable progression opportunities and help them find jobs. The role also focuses on continuously improving the existing supply chain and participant base to maximise growth and outcome delivery, as well as supporting the development of the supply chain to expand delivery capabilities within the MSK Trailblazer Programme and explore new opportunities. This may involve building a strong network of supply chain and alliance partners across various areas like social inclusion, health, equality, and sustainable development.

The post holder will ensure the efficient coordination of all activities to deliver a service effectively to the end user, optimising resource use, ensuring quality, and responding to user needs. There is a clear need for market stewardship which involves the responsible oversight and shaping of our services to ensure they function effectively and sustainably for the long-term benefit of all users and stakeholders, promoting fair practices, addressing systemic risks, and encouraging effective service delivery models.
