Role Overview :
As a Risk Manager within this prestigious consultancy, you will be an integral part of a global team driving the management of project risk across high-profile projects. Your primary role will be to identify, assess, and manage potential risks across multiple projects, ensuring that risk management practices are embedded from the very start. You’ll collaborate with project teams and key stakeholders to ensure effective risk mitigation and safeguard the success of large-scale projects.
Key Responsibilities :
Risk Identification & Assessment : Identify, assess, and manage potential risks (financial, operational, reputational) that could impact project success.
Strategy Development : Design and implement effective risk management strategies to mitigate identified risks.
Stakeholder Collaboration : Work closely with project teams, senior management, and clients to integrate risk management into the project lifecycle.
Reporting & Analysis : Provide detailed risk analysis reports to senior management, highlighting critical risks and suggested mitigation measures.
Monitoring & Tracking : Continuously monitor and track risks throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring timely resolution and risk mitigation actions are taken.
Workshops & Risk Awareness : Facilitate risk management workshops and discussions to enhance risk awareness across stakeholders.
Advisory : Provide expert guidance to teams on effective risk management practices and tools.
Key Skills & Experience :
Experience : Proven experience in risk management, ideally within the construction, infrastructure , or real estate sectors .
Analytical Abilities : Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate risks using recognized risk management tools and methodologies.
Communication & Stakeholder Management : Exceptional communication skills with a demonstrated ability to manage relationships across multiple stakeholders.
Project Management : Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring on-time and effective risk management.
Risk Management Software : Proficiency with risk management software and Microsoft Office tools.
Problem Solving : Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for identifying potential threats and delivering practical solutions.
Qualifications :
A relevant degree or professional qualification in Risk Management , Project Management , or a related field.
Certifications (e.g., PRINCE2, PMI, or equivalent) will be an added advantage.
