Assistant Professor (Movement)

Type of contract: Permanent, full-time

Hours of work: 37 hours per week; Monday to Saturday

Salary: Grade 5,£39,232 - £44,156 plus benefits

The Role

We are currently seeking a focused, highly efficient and self-motivated individual with the ability to think creatively and to take the initiative to meet strict deadlines across a number of simultaneous projects. You will have demonstrable experience in actor movement strands (equivalent to Pisk/Arnolds, Grotowsky, Lecoq, Malgrem) and significant experience of delivering teaching and/or training to actors, preferably in a drama school setting.

The role is a key student-facing role for a creative and progressive educator with a strong pedagogical vision and a deep commitment to developing actors through transformative physical practices rooted in classical movement methodologies.
