Nanny-Housekeeper, full-time live-out role, Job ID J1D475
A warm and welcoming family in Kennington is looking for a Full-time Nanny-Housekeeper to support them as both parents return to full-time work. The role involves caring for their four children, a baby, a toddler, and two school-aged kids, alongside preparing healthy meals and keeping the home tidy and well-organised, including occasional deep cleans. A valid first aid certificate and fluency in English are essential. Knowledge of Spanish or French is a plus. The family typically spends summers in Wales, so flexibility and a willingness to travel are highly valued. Driving skills would be an advantage.
Working hours: Monday to Thursday 08:00 to 17:00, and Friday 09:00 to 16:00
Duties include:
- Assisting with bath time routines and dressing the children
- Feeding the children and tidying up after each meal
- Changing nappies and supporting potty/toilet training for younger children
- Preparing and engaging the children in age-appropriate activities, including educational play and outdoor outings
- Taking the children to playdates and ensuring they are always safe, stimulated, and happy
- Helping older children with homework and academic tasks
- Teaching essential life skills such as personal hygiene and good manners
- Maintaining a clean and organised child-friendly environment
- Cooking nutritious meals for the children and family
- Carrying out general household cleaning, including keeping the toilet and bathroom tidy
- Doing the grocery shopping and running errands as required
- Organising cupboards, changing bed linen, and maintaining an orderly home
