Are you energised by shaping how organisations attract, retain and reward brilliant people? Do you love combining talent strategy, smart systems and meaningful reward to help a business grow? If so, we’d love you to join us on this journey.

We’re looking for a People Business Partner to join us on a fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave. You’ll play an important role in building the talent, reward and people systems foundations that support our People strategy.

Working closely with our Head of People, you’ll help shape and deliver how we bring great people into the business, how we reward them, and how our systems and data support our growth. You’ll support our approach to workforce planning and succession management, ensuring we have the right skills and capabilities in place for the future.

And with your own team of specialists, you’ll help bring structure, insight and innovation to talent, reward and systems across JoJo.

A peek into your daily adventures:

  • Supporting talent attraction, workforce planning and succession activity that support JoJo’s growth.

  • Working closely with managers to ensure our skills and capabilities meet future business needs.

  • S upporting the implementation and roll out of our new HRIS, ensuring processes, data and reporting are accurate, efficient and ready for future phases.

  • Supporting the development of reward and benefits frameworks, ensuring fairness, consistency and alignment to market practice.

  • Working with the Head of People on the annual pay review, reward benchmarking and benefits optimisation.

  • Overseeing day to day recruitment activity through our Talent and Reward Partner, ensuring a fair, consistent and engaging candidate experience.

  • Bringing our employer brand to life and supporting inclusive recruitment and internal progression.

  • Overseeing people systems and data, ensuring accuracy, compliance and meaningful reporting.

  • Supporting digital transformation by ensuring our people systems are efficient, integrated and future ready.

  • Ensuring our people policies are up to date, legally compliant and aligned to business needs.

  • Working closely with our Systems and Data Partner to maintain compliance, GDPR adherence and People Analytics.

  • Overseeing facilities management, ensuring our workplaces are safe, welcoming and fully compliant.

  • Collaborating with Risk and Compliance and our PBP – Experience, Relations and OD to support safe and inclusive workspaces.

  • Partnering with L&D to support internal mobility, leadership development and identifying skills gaps.

  • Leading and developing your team to deliver high-quality work across talent, reward, systems and facilities.

  • Contributing to wider people transformation projects that support our long-term People strategy .

Skills that make you shine:

· Proven experience in HR role at a similar level ideally with a focus on talent management, reward and people systems.

· Experience of compensation and benefits frameworks, talent attraction and workforce planning.

· Experience in HR systems oversight, data analysis and reporting.

· Experience supporting the design and implementation of structured pay and progression frameworks.

· Understanding of employment law, GDPR and people policy management.

· Comfortable influencing managers and senior stakeholders to shape and support decision making.

· Ability to work independently and confidence to make informed, people focused decisions.

· Adaptable and resilient in a changing, agile environment.

  • Strong coaching and mentoring skills to create confidence and grow great leadership.

· Team management experience, with a focus on people development and training.

· Ability to engage our people to create change.

  • CIPD Level 5 or above (or equivalent experience) is a bonus.

· The ability to travel as you’ll be part of our people team who are also based in our Newport Collaborative Space.
