Director/Associate Director - Solutions Specialist

Skills and Competencies
- Experience in a client-facing, pre-sales, or consulting role within the information services, data analytics, or enterprise software industries is required
- Past experience with MDM/Sales and Marketing, CRM data enrichment, lead generation, account planning, and go-to-market strategy use-cases is required
- Proven ability to analyze business processes and workflows, particularly in sales and marketing, with a knack for identifying efficiency improvements
- A commercial mindset and sales mentality with a specific drive to win new customers and act as a trusted advisor to senior-level stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience in the technical sales of complex data, software, or SaaS solutions. Experience with complex sales cycles and the Salesforce AppExchange/Marketplace is a major plus
- Demonstrated proficiency in artificial intelligence concepts, with a strong understanding of GenAI. Hands-on experience using AI tools to streamline workflows is highly desirable
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Interest in or past experience with SQL, Python, or APIs for data integration is encouraged, but not required
- The position requires the ability to travel up to 30%
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field is required
Responsibilities
Serve as the functional and technical expert throughout the sales cycle, instrumental in the sale of Moody’s cutting-edge data and AI solutions.
- Drive the pre-sales function for the Sales Acceleration Task Force by understanding client needs and aligning Moody’s solutions to meet them
- Conduct in-depth analyses of client go-to-market processes and business requirements to identify pain points and areas for improvement
- Demonstrate the value of Moody’s Sales Acceleration solutions through compelling product demos, proof-of-concepts (POCs), and trial evaluations
- Map Moody’s solutions to client needs, developing custom solution designs where necessary by leveraging Moody's portfolio of data and software
- Support sales colleagues, relationship managers, and Salesforce partners to drive the pre-sales process from opportunity qualification to solution alignment and deal closure
- Act as a bridge between clients and our product development teams, conveying market feedback and client requirements to inform product enhancements and innovation

By resolving foundational data challenges and enriching CRM systems, we empower our clients’ sales teams to identify high-value opportunities and deliver actionable insights.
