Role Summary and Impact

This is an exciting opportunity to join the EssenceMediacom team as a Performance Account Executive, working on one of the world's most iconic and innovative brands: adidas.

As part of the adidas European account team based in London, your focus will be on eCommerce best practice and reporting across digital channels and in 20+ EU markets.

You will be instrumental in maintaining smooth ways-of-working between the client, our specialist Digital and Social Hubs, and local country teams. This hands-on role involves leading key team processes, including the end-to-end finance cycle and coordinating campaign reporting updates. You will be a vital communication link, ensuring the timely and excellent delivery of all requests and client work.

Performance Account Executive responsibilities:

  • Focus on digital cross-channel reporting and performance - across paid search, social and programmatic
  • Provide accurate and timely reports for twice weekly performance updates across lower funnel, midfunnel and app acquisition
  • Assist in creation of post campaign analysis and quarterly reviews
  • Manage the cross channel set-up and approval process for ecom campaigns in the global adidas reporting tool
  • Help to manage the finance process, report on monthly budgets and spends across all eCommerce channels
  • Help to manage the requesting and tracking of POs
  • Learn the basics of client account servicing and best practices in managing results to meet client KPIs
  • Be proactive in the ecommerce space – keeping up to date with trends, market insights and new opportunities
  • Respond to global requests
  • Attend weekly performance calls and daily internal team catchups, ensuring all key tasks are actioned
  • Ensure any client follow-ups and team requests are executed in a timely and professional manner
  • Support in the implementation and reporting of European performance test and learn roadmaps
  • Support the roll-out and usage of agentic tools and solutions across the broader EU team

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to build relationships and articulate information clearly to different stakeholders. You have an ability to think creatively and speak and write in a manner that instils confidence.
  • A strong desire to learn and develop. You are curious, ask questions, and are eager to build your knowledge of media planning and the wider industry.
  • A basic understanding but passion for learning more about future facing AI tools and solutions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and particularly PowerPoint. We will offer training and support, but existing knowledge is an advantage.
  • You’ll be confident and fearless in always pushing for more – not only on adidas business performance but also your own personal development.
