MDXInternship Accomodation Intern
Only for current MDX students and recent graduates
We are seeking an Accommodation Intern to support the day-to-day operations of the accommodation service, gaining valuable experience in housing administration, customer service, and facilities coordination. This is ideal for someone looking to build a career in higher education administration, property management, or student services. The intern will work closely with the Resident Life Manager and Senior Accommodation Officer and a range of stakeholders. Duties and responsibilities
- Assist with processing accommodation applications.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on the accommodation management system.
- Handle correspondence with students, parents, and external providers via email and phone.
- Act as contact for student enquiries by phone and email.
- Contribute to ongoing projects such as student satisfaction surveys, process improvement, or digital communication updates.
- Contributing to our Social Media output and reviewing digital content channels.
Skills and experience
Essential
- Currently studying at Middlesex University.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with confidence to engage students and staff.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to gather, organise, and interpret qualitative feedback.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- A genuine interest in student welfare and the higher education sector.
- Right to work in the UK.
Desirable
- Familiarity with student accommodation or property management systems.
- Experience living in or working with university halls of residence.
