Rota Nanny
We are excited to look for an exceptional live-in two week on/off Rota Nanny who can join a very friendly and trusted household to provide the highest standard of care to a six-year-old girl.
This is an exciting and unique role, with a lovely family in a beautiful and iconic home in the heart of Chelsea, which has unexpectedly become available.
The role offers a leading salary, depending on experience, qualifications, and references, and a fantastic and settled household support team which includes a full-time Private Chef, Driver, and Domestic Support.
It is essential that the Nanny can work flexibly with the second Nanny to provide the best possible support to the Child and the Family as the role is essentially a ‘job-share’ with coverage of 365 days per year, including Christmas and holidays.
The role is primarily based in Chelsea, but international travel is required, primarily across Europe, with the family including frequent trips to Spain.
The duties will include:
- Feeding including fresh, healthy food preparation taking into account dietary requirements
- Planning of age-appropriate educational activities both inside and outside of the home and agreeing these plans in advance with the parents
- Accompanying the Child to school or other activities as agreed with the Child’s parents
- Tidying the Child’s rooms and playroom
- Ensuring toys are hygienically clean and tidy
- Ensuring the safety and security of the Child; taking the Child to the doctor/health centre for check-ups, appointments or vaccinations if required
- Supervision and arrangement of age-appropriate play dates/activities (at home or at friends) to be agreed in advance with the Child’s parents
- Packing for travel abroad
- Contact the Child’s parents immediately if the Child is ill
- Caring for the Child’s pet dog in conjunction with other household staff
- Shopping for the Child; and keeping an account of expenses
