What you’ll be doing:

As the Lead Chef, you’ll take ownership of the day-to-day kitchen operations at this popular café. Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning, prepping and presenting high-quality dishes

• Creating menus that reflect seasonal produce and customer preferences

• Leading a small kitchen team and overseeing rotas

• Maintaining excellent food hygiene and safety standards

• Managing stock, suppliers and kitchen budgets

• Working closely with the front-of-house team to ensure a smooth service

• Driving improvements in customer experience and footfall through creative specials and feedback

What we’re looking for:

We’re looking for an ambitious and experienced Chef with a strong understanding of kitchen management and food safety, along with the creativity to develop engaging café menus. You’ll need:

• A passion for fresh food and seasonal ingredients

• Proven experience in a kitchen leadership or Kitchen Manager role

• Strong understanding of HACCP and food hygiene compliance

• A people-first mindset with the ability to lead and inspire others

• A proactive approach to customer feedback and menu development
