Associate Director-Product Manager

Moody's
London

At Moody's, we unite the brightest minds to turn today’s risks into tomorrow’s opportunities. We do this by striving to create an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome to be who they are—with the freedom to exchange ideas, think innovatively, and listen to each other and customers in meaningful ways. Moody’s is transforming how the world sees risk. As a global leader in ratings and integrated risk assessment, we’re advancing AI to move from insight to action—enabling intelligence that not only understands complexity but responds to it. We decode risk to unlock opportunity, helping our clients navigate uncertainty with clarity, speed, and confidence.

If you are excited about this opportunity but do not meet every single requirement, please apply! You still may be a great fit for this role or other open roles. We are seeking candidates who model our values: invest in every relationship, lead with curiosity, champion diverse perspectives, turn inputs into actions, and uphold trust through integrity.

Skills and Competencies

  • Typically 8–10 years of product management experience, including experience in financial services, financial technology, or risk management software
  • Proven experience owning products end-to-end from discovery and specification through launch and post-launch iteration, with the ability to independently drive a product area
  • Deep understanding of generative artificial intelligence, large language models, agentic artificial intelligence, and application programming interface or protocol-based products; direct exposure to Model Context Protocol or comparable agent-tooling protocols preferred
  • Strong grasp of agile methodologies with experience leading ceremonies, managing backlogs, improving ways of working through retrospectives, and driving outcomes through key performance indicator reviews
  • Strong market analysis and competitive intelligence capabilities with the ability to identify opportunities and influence product roadmap direction
  • Technical fluency to participate in architecture, infrastructure, authentication, security, and application programming interface design discussions while effectively evaluating trade-offs without requiring hands-on coding
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills across engineering, design, data, business, and partner teams
  • Deep expertise in artificial intelligence, with a track record of implementing advanced AI solutions to drive strategic transformation and operational efficiency. Strong experience using AI tools to lead innovation initiatives. Demonstrated leadership in managing AI-related risks, ensuring ethical governance, and fostering a culture of responsible AI adoption across the organization

Education

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Relevant Master's degree preferred depending on the nature of the product and business needs

Responsibilities

Lead the strategy, development, and delivery of Moody's Model Context Protocol products that enable agentic and artificial intelligence-native workflows.

  • Own the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for the Model Context Protocol server and application portfolio, ensuring a coherent, extensible, and well-documented platform experience
  • Define, prioritize, and deliver product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria while balancing new capabilities, platform stability, governance requirements, and technical debt
  • Partner with engineering, design, data, security, and strategy teams to translate customer and business needs into actionable product milestones and releases
  • Conduct customer, partner, developer, and market research to identify opportunities, validate concepts, and ensure the platform remains competitive within the evolving artificial intelligence ecosystem
  • Lead the squad operating rhythm through planning, prioritization, retrospectives, and continuous improvement activities that drive delivery consistency and accountability
  • Define and monitor product and platform key performance indicators including adoption, usage, reliability, and developer satisfaction to measure impact and inform roadmap decisions
  • Manage delivery risks, dependencies, and release readiness while ensuring appropriate controls, security reviews, and quality standards are maintained across the product lifecycle
  • Build strong relationships with business units, client-facing teams, and technology partners to identify new application opportunities and support internal and external developer success

About the Team

The Digital Insights product organization is responsible for developing innovative data, analytics, and artificial intelligence solutions that help clients make informed decisions in an increasingly complex financial landscape. By joining the team, you will help shape the future of agentic artificial intelligence experiences and intelligent workflows, working alongside product, engineering, design, and data experts to deliver scalable solutions that unlock the value of Moody's intelligence for clients, partners, and internal teams worldwide.
