Pay: 85- 105 per day

About the Role

A friendly Greenwich primary school is seeking a committed Teaching Assistant to join their Year 1 team. The school prides itself on creating a nurturing, play-led learning environment, and the successful Teaching Assistant will support early literacy, phonics, and social development. You'll work closely with the class teacher, delivering small-group activities and one-to-one learning support.

The role is ideal for a Teaching Assistant who enjoys helping young learners build confidence and independence while contributing to a calm and structured classroom.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful Teaching Assistant will:

• Have previous experience supporting children in EYFS or KS1

• Be confident delivering phonics and early literacy tasks

• Show strong communication, empathy, and organisational skills

• Be proactive and able to follow direction as well as use initiative
