Director - Leveraged Loan & High Yield Bond Sales, Global bank

A leading global investment bank is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director to join its Leveraged Loan and High Yield (HY) Sales team. This front-office role is based in London and focuses on the distribution of leveraged loans and high yield bonds across primary and secondary markets.

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a wide institutional investor base and play a key role in the execution and distribution of complex transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary contact for institutional investors (and some banks) for leveraged loan and high yield transactions

• Lead the distribution process for both primary and secondary market deals

• Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high-quality execution and service

• Manage investor dialogue around transaction structuring, pricing, and appetite

• Communicate investor feedback and market intelligence to trading, syndicate, origination, and other internal stakeholders

• Drive cross-selling opportunities and contribute to revenue generation

• Ensure compliance with internal processes, regulatory requirements, and client classification rules

• Maintain accurate and timely call reports and investor interaction logs

• Facilitate onboarding and vetting of new clients with internal teams (KYC, Legal, Compliance, Credit)

Key Requirements:

• Strong experience in leveraged finance sales, with deep knowledge of primary and secondary loan and HY bond markets

• Proven ability to manage multiple transactions and execute under pressure

• Excellent client-facing skills, negotiation capabilities, and product knowledge

• Strong communicator, both written and verbal

• Team player who demonstrates high ethical standards and commercial drive

• Familiarity with key systems such as Bloomberg, DebtDomain, and Excel

• FCA Certification required (Client Dealing function)
