IT Risk & Controls Lead London - Hybrid (2 DPM in office) Up to £63,000 VIQU have partnered with a leading organisation who are seeking an IT Risk & Controls Lead to join their IT risk management team. The IT Risk & Controls Lead will take overall responsibility for maintaining up-to-date IT risk documentation and ensuring that all mitigating controls are current, effective, and properly evidenced. The IT Risk & Controls Lead will be instrumental in developing and sustaining a close working relationship with the Risk Assurance Board, ensuring that IT policies and procedures are aligned with enterprise-wide standards and compliant with regulatory requirements. The successful IT Risk & Controls Lead will also own the IT Risk Register, overseeing its ongoing management in line with the established IT risk framework. This includes collaborating with departmental leads to review risks according to a set schedule and escalating high-severity issues when necessary. Essential Experience for the IT Risk & Controls Lead: â Extensive experience in an enterprise level risk environmentâ 5+ years experience in a service oriented IT roleâ Strong understanding of core IT processes and departmental functionsâ Proven experience in Risk Management at project, programme, or departmental levelâ Familiarity with recognised Risk Management Frameworks ideally COBIT, though ITIL or NIST will also be consideredâ Methodical and process driven approachâ Excellent communication skills, with the ability to produce high quality technical documentationâ Proactive, self starter with the confidence to challenge and say no when necessaryâ Experience in a regulated environment, such as Finance or Insurance To discuss this exciting opportunity in more detail, please APPLY NOW for a no obligation chat with your VIQU Consultant.
