Pure AMHP - Remote Working
We are looking for experienced Approved Mental Health Professionals (AMHPs) to join a dedicated service supporting Mental Health Act assessments.
This is a pure AMHP role, ideal for practitioners who want to focus on assessment work while benefiting from a flexible, remote-first working arrangement. The role- Deliver high-quality AMHP assessments in line with the Mental Health Act.
- Work remotely, with availability to attend assessments within one hour of R&W when required.
- Collaborate closely with partner agencies, service users, families and wider multidisciplinary teams.
- Provide professional, person-centred and legally compliant practice in often complex and time-sensitive situations.
- Qualified and warranted AMHP.
- Significant post-qualification experience in AMHP practice.
- Practitioners with five or more years’ AMHP experience will be considered at the experienced/top end of the salary scale.
- Confident, autonomous professionals with strong assessment, risk-management and multi-agency working skills.
- Able to respond flexibly and reliably to assessment requirements within the R&W area.
- £44,982–£54,507 per annum, dependent on experience.
- £3,000 annual AMHP allowance.
- Salary is negotiable for exceptional candidates; AMHPs with 5+ years’ experience can expect packages of £50,000+.
