SEN TA | Southwark
A well-regarded primary school in Southwark is recruiting a proactive SEN TA to join their inclusion team from January 2026. This SEN TA role in Southwark includes a structured induction before January 2026, with the SEN TA fully in post from January 2026.
• SEN TA required to provide targeted learning support
• SEN TA required to work within a caring primary school in Southwark
• SEN TA to support inclusion and positive outcomes across the school
The SEN TA will support pupils with additional learning needs, assisting with lesson access, behaviour strategies and emotional development. Working across Southwark, the SEN TA will collaborate closely with teachers and the SENCO to promote inclusive practice.
Responsibilities
Support pupils in lessons through adapted tasks and guided support.
Deliver structured interventions to support progress.
Assist with emotional regulation and behaviour strategies.
Maintain clear communication with staff and SEN leadership.
Support pupils throughout the Southwark school day.
Person specification
SEN support experience or relevant training.
Calm, caring and professional approach.
Strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
Available to start January 2026 following induction before January 2026.
