Start Date: ASAP
End Date: 31st October 2025
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Rate: Competitive, dependent on experience
Job Overview
Pulse is currently seeking a confident and experienced Band 7 Speech and Language Therapist (SALT) to join the team at Alexandra Park Health Centre in Manchester. This locum role offers the opportunity to work within a supportive clinical environment, delivering high-quality speech and language therapy services to a varied caseload.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialist assessment and intervention for patients with communication and swallowing difficulties
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient care and rehabilitation
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Contribute to service development and uphold best practice standards
Requirements
- HCPC registration (required)
- RCSLT membership (required)
- NHS experience (beneficial but not essential)
- Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a full-time caseload
