Van Driver

At GXO, we recognise that it’s our people that help keep the nation moving so due to continued growth, were looking for 3.5 ton Van Drivers to join our team in Greenford , working with our customer, Waitrose.
You will work either a full time 37.5 hours per week across any 5 days out of 7 , or a part time position with a choice of with 2, 3 or 4 days over Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday . Start times either 05:45 or 12:45 for both shift patterns.

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Safely and efficiently complete multi-drop deliveries, typically serving 20+ customers per day
- Accurately complete all delivery-related tasks, including managing customer returns and reporting discrepancies
- Maintain high standards of vehicle care by conducting daily checks, following defect-reporting procedures, and operating the vehicle safely, legally and economically at all times
- Provide exceptional customer service to Waitrose customers at their doorstep, representing the brand with professionalism and personality
- Consistently meet delivery performance targets in line with agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- A full UK driving licence
- No more than 6 penalty points on your licence (no T, IN, DD, DR, or DG endorsements)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work on your own initiative
- Work flexibly to support business needs, including unsocial hours and weekend shifts
