Join Our Team as a Mobile Vehicle Technician

Step into a new era of mobile repair with our Service, Maintenance & Repair (SMR) division. We are looking for a dedicated Mobile Vehicle Technician to join our dynamic team!

What We Offer

• Competitive Salary: Base salary of £45,378 (inclusive of London Weighting Allowance, if applicable), with on-target earnings of up to £57,000.
• Guaranteed Overtime: Option to increase your base salary to £44,385, plus additional overtime and bonus opportunities.
• Working Hours: 40 hours per week, with core hours from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, and 1 in 4 Saturdays.

About the Role

Unlike traditional roadside rescue roles, our SMR division focuses on delivering planned, structured repairs directly to our members. You will enjoy:

• Routine servicing and diagnostics using advanced mobile equipment.
• In-depth repairs typically completed in a workshop.
• Providing member advice and recommendations based on inspections.
• Conducting vehicle safety checks aligned with our high standards.

Your day will start with a clear digital schedule, allowing you to prepare for each job in advance. You will have access to a fully equipped RAC van, fuel card, uniform, full tool set, and advanced diagnostics from day one.

What You’ll Need

• Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent).
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a vehicle technician working on light vehicles.
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.
