Iconic Resourcing is delighted to be supporting a well-established, independent accountancy practice in their search for a professional and personable Receptionist.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly and collaborative team where you’ll be the first point of contact for clients and visitors. The current postholder is progressing into a new internal role, which speaks volumes about the supportive culture and development opportunities within the business.

As Receptionist, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and efficient front-of-house experience, while also providing essential administrative support to the wider team.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Welcoming clients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner

• Managing incoming calls and directing enquiries appropriately

• Handling incoming and outgoing mail and packages

• Preparing teas, coffees and lunches for meetings when required

• Setting up and resetting boardrooms for meetings

• Opening and distributing daily post

• Scanning and filing documents accurately

• Supporting client administration, including ID verification tracking and government gateway access requests

• Banking cheques on behalf of the business and clients

• Managing office supplies and stationery orders

• Organising keys and general office coordination tasks

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in delivering a high standard of service and enjoys being at the heart of a busy office.

You will likely:

• Have previous reception or front-of-house experience

• Have administration experience

• Be confident managing calls and interacting with clients professionally

• Demonstrate strong organisational skills and attention to detail

• Be comfortable handling confidential information

• Take a proactive, hands-on approach to supporting a team

• Enjoy working in a structured, office-based environment
