An exciting opportunity has arisen for a seasoned regulatory professional to lead the implementation of UK regulatory changes across various business areas, ensuring effective communication, training, and policy alignment. This role is critical to maintaining regulatory excellence and supporting the firm’s ongoing compliance strategy.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a professional with:

• Proven project management skills, especially in regulatory implementation.
• Strong understanding of UK and European financial regulations.
• Ability to analyse complex regulatory developments and convey actionable insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to engage effectively across functions and business units.

Key Responsibilities

Regulatory Analysis & Project Management

• Monitor and analyse new UK laws, regulations, and best practices to assess business impact.
• Launch and manage regulatory change projects in coordination with the UK Head of CIB Compliance and relevant stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, outlining key milestones and responsibilities.
• Provide regular project status updates, highlighting progress, risks, and issues to governance forums.

Training & Policy Development

• Produce engaging and informative training materials tailored to new regulatory requirements.
• Review and update internal policies and procedures to reflect regulatory changes.
• Coordinate with business and support functions to ensure consistent messaging and adoption of updates.

Stakeholder Engagement & Governance

• Build strong working relationships with branch leadership, business units, and control functions.
• Prepare and present management information (MI) to governance bodies, tracking decisions and follow-up actions.
• Provide regular updates to Head Office on regulatory trends, project developments, and compliance initiatives.
