The role:

We are looking for an IT Team Lead who loves building high-performing teams, stable and reliable systems and ensure efficient handling of the businesses' needs and issues. You are experienced in creating strong relationships between all business functions to support their growing needs regarding digital and IT systems. Help the functions to understand risks and best practices when it comes to security and the protection of the business's digital assets.

What you will be doing

  • Utilising a deep understanding and hands-on experience with public cloud infrastructure, networking, and SaaS (Software as a Service) applications (such as Azure, Microsoft O365, Microsoft Intune, Atlassian Suite).
  • Transforming manual repetitive tasks with sound, safe and efficient automation.
  • Lead an efficient and safe onboarding and offboarding process. Ensuring correct access to systems, working and reliable devices and systems which are available when needed.
  • Utilising Lean-Agile principles, driving you to foster an environment where agility, customer focus, and service orientation are at the forefront.
  • Bring a strong track record in service delivery, and supplier management, you take ownership of systems to secure excellence in solution and service delivery.
  • Leading a team of individuals in the excellence of their roles and the IT function. Your leadership will be pivotal in instilling an Agile mindset, customer-centric approach (Customers being the employees of RedCloud), and a service-oriented culture among team members.
  • Alongside overall Management, being a coach and mentor, empowering your team to achieve their highest potential and contribute significantly to our strategic objectives.
  • Overseeing and optimising the organisation's corporate cloud infrastructure, communications, support and operations, distinct from product development or software engineering responsibilities.

What you should have:

  • Sound experience in managing IT operations, hardware and software suppliers
  • Experience in managing global/multi-country corporate IT
  • Experience with Windows and Apple technologies (Linux will be additional advantage)
  • Experience with JIRA or any service desk software such as Zendesk, Remedy, Service Now, etc.
  • Advanced Microsoft Azure and Office365 knowledge
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation technologies e.g SCCM/ Ansible/ PowerShell
  • Strong eye for security and its importance within a global corporate IT setting
  • Experienced in implementing and maintaining compliance standard (e.g. ISO27001)
  • Strong customer service experience and friendly attitude
  • Good documentation skills - able to plan, track and implement projects.
  • Team player, collaborative and cooperative mindset
