HGV Refuse Collection Driver£19.76 per hour (PAYE)

Temporary 1 month, likely to be extended/on-going Job Role Summary: · Carry out refuse and recycling collections daily, with skills and knowledge of all machinery aspects of the job · Undertake all duties in a professional manner deploying safe lifting and handling techniques appropriate to articles left for removal · Use in-cab technology and mobile devices as directed · Complete relevant paperwork in real time · Carry out daily inspections and reporting for machinery and vehicles, before and after use · Ensure the cleanliness of machinery and vehicles. · Maintain excellent customer and client relations, particularly with members of the public and other motor users Your typical working hours will be: · 6am to 2:30pm, Monday - Friday What you'll need to do the role: · Valid HGV Class 2 driving licence (with no more than 6 points)· Driver CPC · Willingness to help refuse loaders while on your rounds to enable your team to complete the route within the service level agreement · Good communication and interpersonal skills · Self-motivated · Willingness to undertake tasks If you meet the above criteria then we would love to hear from you, please apply online today!
