Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging and comprehensive History lessons to students.
- Create a positive learning environment that fosters intellectual curiosity and personal development.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the curriculum and incorporate relevant resources and materials into lessons.
- Establish and maintain open lines of communication with parents/guardians.
- Support and mentor students in their academic and personal growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in History or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching History at the primary or secondary level.
- Excellent knowledge of the History curriculum.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
- Understanding of and adherence to safeguarding policies and procedures.
