A welcoming family based in Crouch End, London, who recently welcomed their 6-week-old newborn, is seeking an experienced Part-time Live-out Housekeeper to take care of their home.

The family is transitioning away from external cleaners and is looking for a warm, supportive, and discreet Housekeeper/Cook who can take full responsibility for the upkeep of their home, prepare healthy daily meals, and provide a calm, reassuring presence during this special postnatal period.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience working in private family homes and will speak fluent English. Speaking Bengali, Hindi, or Urdu would be a bonus. Previous nanny experience would also be advantageous, although the role is primarily focused on housekeeping and cooking rather than childcare.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout the family's three-bedroom apartment while preparing healthy, nutritious meals for the parents. The family follows a Halal diet, so experience preparing Halal meals would be beneficial. There are no pets in the household.

Working hours: Flexible. 2 to 3 days per week, 5 to 6 hours per day, for a total of 12 to 18 hours per week. There is potential for the hours to increase for the right candidate.

Duties include:

• ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of a three-bedroom apartment
• sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and polishing throughout the home
• cleaning and sanitising bathrooms, including sinks, bathtubs, and showers
• maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen
• washing, drying, ironing, folding, and organising clothing and household linens
• making beds and changing bed linen as required
• loading and unloading the dishwasher and keeping dishware organised
• preparing healthy and nutritious meals for the parents in accordance with their Halal dietary requirements
• maintaining a clean, organised, and welcoming home environment
