Data Engineer (Account Director)
- Develop and manage automated data, ML and AI tools for our internal media teams and our clients leveraging the latest features in AI, ML & cloud computing.
- Work closely with Business Intelligence and Marketing Science teams to build data models and automated solutions that drive value for clients.
- Build and maintain efficient and scalable data pipelines across an ever-evolving variety of data sources and platforms.
- Work with our central DevOps team to set up and manage cloud environments (we mainly use GCP) in-line with industry and Choreograph best-practices
- Manage and mentor junior colleagues, work with the team to elevate and accelerate data democratisation across the business.
- Collaborate with non-technical teams to identify opportunities for data, AI or automation to enhance their or our client's day-to-day operations.
- Keep up to date with the latest AI and cloud technology, investigate potential use cases and build POCs.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation and design specifications.

- Advanced SQL skills, with the ability to perform complex data transformations on large datasets in an efficient manner.
- Ability to lead requirements gathering conversations with non-technical teams and translate their requirements into technical, data-driven solutions.
- Experience setting up and maintaining cloud environments, data pipelines and automated tools/services.
- Experience implementing DevOps or MLOps best practices.
- Comfortable working with APIs to extract data.
- Understanding of data warehouse design principles and best practices.
- Programming experience in Python is desirable but not essential.
- Prior experience working in a cloud, data or ML engineering role.
- Solid MS Office skills, ability to create good presentations and technical documents.
