This Upper KS2 Teacher role is a maternity cover for one academic year and is ideal for a skilled classroom practitioner ready to take ownership of a vibrant and high-achieving Year 5 or Year 6 class.

As an Upper KS2 Teacher, you will:

• Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons across core subjects

• Prepare pupils for end-of-year assessments, including SATs (if Year 6)

• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment

• Use formative and summative assessment to support pupil progress

• Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and SLT

The ideal Upper KS2 Teacher will have:

• QTS and experience teaching in Key Stage 2

• Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and end-of-year expectations

• Confidence in managing behaviour and building rapport with pupils

• A reflective and adaptable teaching style

• A passion for primary education and making learning meaningful
