About the role

To support the Business Operations Manager and the Business Operations Team with all business operations in stores and CSO whilst consistently delivering excellent levels of service and standards.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage operations across the Retail estate.

• Key part of communication to the Retail estate.

• Key organiser for opening or closure roll out plans.

• Support with successful CSO operations.

• Key event organiser for Seasonal Showcase events.

• Create a sound working relationship with stores and concessions where the support is seamless and continuous.

• Create a constructive relationship with host store and centre/village operation teams.

• Manage all maintenance issues in stores and ensure there is an effective out of hours service is in place, challenge costs and ensure all costs are competitive.

• Be proactive in managing Health and Safety issues and compliance in stores and CSO.

• Coordinate and manage all store risk assessments.

• Be first point of contact for store/CSO enquiries and ensure prompt response.

• Alongside the Business Operations team, become the guardian of communication to stores and CSO, ensuring that all business communication for stores goes via Retail Operations, and for CSO via Business Operations. Ensure all communication is sent out correct and to timescales - all communication must be clear and in the correct format.

• Update relevant areas (Retail Operations) on Microsoft Teams for stores.

• Create concepts and designs for Retail projects (incentives, reward and recognition schemes).

• Support stores with security and compliance.

• Support with store openings and closures.

• Alongside team, manage the Retail Operations section on Microsoft Teams.

• Support the department, and wider department (including Retail Learning and Development and Wholesale) with any ad hoc projects, administration, or meeting organisation.

• A key player in CSO office standards. Managed through weekly floor walks and communication with relevant departments.

• Responsible for incoming and outgoing post and couriers.

• Responsible for Reception duties into the 4th floor and supporting with front of house duties where required.

• Key role in CSO facilities management.

• Support with successful CSO operations.

• Assist with CSO maintenance where applicable.

Key Objectives

• Successful operations across Retail estate including events, project roll out, store maintenance, security and compliance activities.

• Successful operations across CSO including facilities management, office maintenance, reception duties, health and safety provision and postal duties in the White Building.

• Key relationship building across CSO and Retail teams.

EXPERIENCE / SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Understanding the needs of a retail business.

• Cost control (budget awareness).

• Customer service experience.

• Background in retail.

• Excel/PowerPoint/Word/Outlook.

• Organisational and time management skills.

• Problem solving capability.

• Demonstrates creative thinking.

• Facilities Operations experience.

• Competent/experience in Health and Safety ways of working.

• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
