Position Available: Learning Support Assistant (Year 4 - 1:1)

A fantastic primary school in North London is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to support a Year 4 pupil on a one-to-one basis. This is a meaningful role where your dedication will directly impact a child's development and progress.

The Role:
As a Learning Support Assistant , you will work closely with the class teacher to provide tailored academic and emotional support to a pupil in Year 4. You will help keep them engaged, motivated, and progressing in a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver one-to-one support as a Learning Support Assistant for a Year 4 pupil with additional learning needs

• Adapt learning activities and materials to meet the pupil's individual needs

• Encourage participation, build confidence, and track progress

• Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment

• Work collaboratively with teaching staff, SENCO, and parents to ensure consistent support

• Support the child's social development and independence

• Maintain accurate records and communicate any issues or progress clearly

• Be a consistent and reliable presence in the pupil's day-to-day learning

Requirements:

• Experience working as a Learning Support Assistant or in a similar educational support role

• A calm, patient, and encouraging attitude

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Commitment to inclusive and child-centred education

• Passion for supporting pupils with additional needs
