How you'll make an impact \n
\n
\n
    \n
  • Conducting in-depth fund manager due diligence through a combination of qualitative and quantitative analysis, with a primary focus on infrastructure and broader real assets.
  • \n
  • Presenting and articulating fund manager recommendations to the Investment Strategy Committee, clients, prospects and internal stakeholders (such as the Investment Consultant client teams).
  • \n
  • Closely monitoring the evolution of fund manager skill against their objectives post-selection.
  • \n
  • Actively contributing to the continual improvement of Gallagher’s Manager Research process.
  • \n
  • Working on bespoke client requests for manager selection exercises, new market evaluations, deep dive diligence, portfolio reviews and recommendations.
  • \n
  • As a senior member of the team, you would also be instrumental in supporting the ongoing development of more junior team members.
  • \n

About You \n
\n
\n
    \n
  • A background in infrastructure equity and/or real estate fund manager research and investment
  • \n
  • An analytical mindset – ability to cut through the marketing spin and understand where a manager’s edge truly lies.
  • \n
  • A ‘self-starter’ approach - taking the initiative and having the confidence to express a view.
  • \n
  • Qualitative and quantitative investment evaluation skills
  • \n
  • A strong sense of process and ability to project-manage
  • \n
  • The ability to listen to, absorb, evaluate and communicate complex ideas clearly, verbally and in writing.
  • \n
  • Experience working directly with and presenting to clients.
  • \n
  • 7+ years of investment experience.
  • \n
\n

It would be great if you also have

  • Professional qualification: CFA, CAIA.
  • \n
  • Experience working with institutional asset owners.
  • \n
  • An understanding of ESG and Climate-focused investing.
  • \n
  • Experience using industry tools such as Preqin, Bloomberg and Pitchbook
  • \n
  • Strong, Excel-based analytical capabilities
  • \n
