YOUR ROLE
Our high-profile customer contract, based in London NW10 have the need for a C1 Driver to join their operations team. Due to the nature of the customer on site there will be a 3-month vetting process for the successful candidate before your start date.
The shift pattern for this role is Monday to Thursday 9am-6pm and 9am - 5:30pm on Fridays.
The salary for the role is £40,207.44 per annum. This is based on a £30,357.60 salary with a £4.51per hour market supplememt.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
- Ensure goods are delivered on time and to the correct location with accurate completion of associated system transactions
- Ensure that daily vehicle checks are carried out and any defects are reported and remedied
- All Tachograph laws and regulations are adhered to
- Comply with all vehicle and site security requirements at all times
- Oversee or check the safe loading of vehicle ensuring compliance with company and legislative safe working practices
- Drives vehicle to destinations and tip load in accordance with customer requirements and special instructions
- Carry out vehicle and auxiliary equipment checks prior to the operation of any vehicle and report any defects
- Ensure compliance with security requirements in all areas of the operation
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for a candidate who has had previous experience in a Warehouse Operative or X-ray Screening role, or those that are looking for a move into this field as full training is available. It is also essential that you hold a C1 license.
Due to the nature of the role. it is also essential that you are an excellent team player with a high attention to detail. You must also be comfortable working in a fast paced, high security environment.
