Position Role
Deliver a Defence Case Management System to provide a holistic connected and legally compliant system.
Responsibilities
- Responsible to the Senior Responsible Owner for development delivery and stabilisation of the new Defence Case Management System (DCMS) which will holistically support Service Personnel in the Welfare Recovery Employability and Vulnerability Pathways through a single coherent ORACLE-Based application
- Work with and hold to account the contracted organisation to deliver DCMS maintaining relations whilst representing the needs of Defence.
- Work with key stakeholders FLCs UKSC DPT Def Stats DFS to ensure the DCMS Statement of Requirement/Work remains Fit for Purpos e.
- Support defining and maintaining the product roadmap and prioritised backlog to deliver agreed outcomes and benefits.
- Champion user-centred design and accessibility; validate process standardisation through measurable user outcomes.
- Support backlog refinement sprint planning and acceptance of deliverables.
- Manage risks issues and dependencies; represent the product in governance forums and make priority trade-off decisions within agreed scope and budget.
- Consider interoperability with Defence Medical Services DefHRS and other adjacent systems and projects to ensure DCMS has the necessary compatibility with future systems and is aligned to the future people intent.
- Oversee the safe migration of data from multiple case management systems into DCMS ensuring data quality auditability and compliance with information assurance and data protection.
- Plan and execute transition to live environment including support readiness SLAs and monitoring.
- Design and execute a DCMS communications plan from grass roots to ministerial level.
- Act as Training Lead for golive(s): define training strategy and materials run trainthetrainer schedule and track uptake and ensure accessible learning.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for initial onboarding and hypercare; coordinate floorwalking clinics and knowledgebase support.
- Design and deliver a change communications and adoption plan providing clear progress updates and benefits tracking.
- Track product analytics and benefits realisation; drive continuous improvement based on data and user feedback.
Local Considerations
Domestic
Although the role is located in MoD Head Office (MoD Main Building Whitehall London) travel to Head Office and contracted office is not mandated. Working from Home / Remotely will be the norm with requirement to travel / visit sS locations to support System implementation (eg training orientation).
