Live-in Housekeeper to High-Profile Individual

Location: Los Angeles, California, USA (with approximately two months per year in the UK)

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced, discreet, and highly organised Live-in Housekeeper to support a globally renowned high-profile individual and their family. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards across the principal’s residence overseeing housekeeping, wardrobe care, household organisation, and ensuring the home runs smoothly and efficiently.

This is a live-in position based primarily in Los Angeles, California, with approximately two months each year spent in the United Kingdom. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional housekeeping standards, light culinary skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work with complete discretion within a private household.

* International travel may occasionally be required.
* Candidate must be willing to relocate to Los Angeles.
* Visa sponsorship and all associated immigration arrangements will be fully organised and funded by the family.
* Accommodation within the family residence (or separate staff accommodation where applicable) will be provided.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Whilst the role follows standard weekday hours, flexibility is required to provide occasional support outside of these hours when the family are entertaining, travelling, or hosting guests.

Key Responsibilities

Housekeeping

* Maintain the residence to immaculate five-star standards.
* Daily cleaning of all living areas, bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and outdoor entertaining spaces.
* Laundry, ironing, steaming, and wardrobe organisation.
* Care for luxury clothing, delicate fabrics, designer items, and fine furnishings.
* Change bed linen and towels.
* Organise wardrobes, cupboards, storage rooms, and household inventories.
* Ensure household supplies are fully stocked.
* Coordinate dry cleaning and specialist garment care.
* Prepare guest bedrooms to hotel standards.

Household Management

* Ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the residence.
* Monitor household supplies and place orders when required.
* Liaise with contractors, maintenance providers, and external suppliers.
* Assist with deliveries and household logistics.
* Report maintenance issues promptly.
* Help prepare the property before and after travel.

Confidentiality

* Maintain complete discretion and confidentiality at all times.
* Respect the privacy of the principal, family members, and guests.
* Exercise professionalism and sound judgement in every aspect of the role.

Candidate Requirements

* Minimum five years’ experience working within a private household, UHNW residence, luxury hotel, or for a high-profile individual.
* Previous experience as a Live-in Housekeeper, Private Cook, Housekeeper/Cook, or House Manager is highly desirable.
* Excellent housekeeping standards with meticulous attention to detail.
* Experience caring for luxury wardrobes, delicate fabrics, antiques, and high-end interiors.
* Highly organised and proactive.
* Trustworthy, discreet, and professional.
* Positive, flexible, and adaptable attitude.
* Comfortable working independently and taking initiative.
* Valid passport with the ability to travel internationally.
* Willingness to relocate to Los Angeles.

Package

* Salary: £50,000–£60,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
* UK contract of employment.
* Fully funded visa sponsorship and all associated immigration costs.
