Admin Assistant - Construction
Overview My client is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join their Construction Aftercare team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting daily operations by performing a variety of administrative tasks. This position requires proficiency in various software applications and excellent phone etiquette, ensuring smooth communication within the office and with clients. Responsibilities
- To assist with the implementation of new processes & procedures (documentation)
- Assist with general filing and admin, ensuring all project files are tidy, uniform & up to date
- Set up New project files
- To make contact with subcontractors to get quotations for maintenance & small works (all information provided)
- To source materials/parts required & submit to buyers for purchase
- Organise any spares & keep inventory
- Booking in maintenance visits as per contracted schedules.
- Assist with ensuring all H&S documentation is in received & reviewed (by others) prior to any works commencing
- Collating Maintenance reports & preparing for issue to clients
- Assist with dealing with reactive issues- arranging urgent call outs, sourcing materials.
- Requesting invoices from accounts team ready for issuing
