Management Accountant
Company
This is a well established and international trade and logistics business based in London. They primarily focus on raw materials for metal production operating in several offices worldwide.
Due to continued growth, they are now looking to hire a talented part-qualified Management Accountant to join their finance team.
Role
The Management Accountant for this international logistics distribution and supply chain business, will work closely with the Finance Manager in ownership of month-end duties, analysis and financial reporting. They will take on a number of key duties including:
- Contribute towards the preparation of monthly management account packs.
- Develop and maintain timely and accurate financial statements and reports.
- Ensure that month-end accounting entries are completed timely & accurately.
- Assist with project reporting and project accounting entries.
- Performing balance sheet reconciliations.
- Support on VAT for UK calculations.
- Perform variance analysis.
- Support preparation for audit processes.
- Support on treasury and multicurrency duties.
- Complete ad hoc duties as directed by senior management team.
Profile
The ideal profile for this Management Accountant position, should have the following attributes:
- 3+ years of experience within a similar Management Accounting capacity
- Strong experience in supporting month-end procedures & multicurrency.
- Experience with QuickBooks would be advantageous.
- Confident with Excel
- Strong communication skills, both written & verbal.
- Part-qualified and actively studying towards a recognised qualification (ACCA/CIMA etc.)
- Degree educated within an accounting/numerical discipline favoured.
Salary & Benefits
£45,000 to £48,000 plus benefits including:

The salary range/rates of pay is dependent upon your experience, qualifications or training.
