Children's ages: 19 months old A warm and supportive family are seeking a dedicated and proactive nanny to care for their delightful 19-month-old child two days per week. This is a rewarding role for someone who is passionate about child development and enjoys building meaningful, long-term relationships. Days & Hours
2 days per week
Wednesday (essential)
Plus Tuesday or Thursday (flexible)
Typical hours: 7:30am – 7:00pm
Some flexibility required:
Occasional earlier finishes or later starts when parents are working from home
Potential for longer days during busy work periods About the Child
The child is a happy, sociable little boy with some additional developmental needs. He is not yet walking and is currently supported by occupational therapy and physiotherapy. He loves to play, explore, and engage with the world around him, and thrives with encouragement and interaction. Key Responsibilities
Providing attentive, nurturing care in a safe and stimulating environment
Supporting the child’s physical and developmental progress, including:
Practising mobility and early walking skills
Reinforcing exercises and guidance from OT and physio professionals
Attending occasional appointments (e.g., therapy sessions)
Planning fun, engaging outings and activities to encourage exploration and social interaction
Assisting with intimate care, including nappy changing
Preparing meals/snacks (some meals will be pre-prepared by the family)
Maintaining a tidy and organised child-focused environment Candidate Requirements
A fun, positive, patient, and enthusiastic approach
Experience caring for toddlers; experience with additional needs is desirable
A genuine interest in child development and early years support
Physically fit and active (role involves lifting and carrying, including stairs)
Reliable, committed, and able to build a strong bond with the child and family
Full UK driving licence and own car
Enhanced DBS check dated within the last 12 months
