Location: Romford, Essex

Salary/Benefits: £25k - £42k + Training & Benefits

We are recruiting on behalf of a privately-owned Asbestos Consultancy, who have a strong presence across the South East. Our client holds UKAS accreditation and a positive reputation within the industry. They are seeking a candidate who holds robust industry experience, as you will be expected to hit the ground running upon joining the company. It is essential to hold the BOHS P402, or RSPH equivalent, in addition to comprehensive technical knowledge. Base salaries on offer are competitive and comes alongside usual benefits packages, including a company vehicle.

Locations of work include: Romford, Hornchurch, Ilford, Barking, Epping, Chelmsford, Billericay, Wickford, Basildon, Hockley, South Woodham Ferrers, South Benfleet, Southend-on-Sea, Canvey Island, Grays, Tilbury, Dartford, Erith, Gravesend, Sidcup, Bromley, Orpington, Chatham, Rainham, Snodland, Sevenoaks, Oxted, Caterham, Croydon.

Experience / Qualifications:

* Will be qualified with the BOHS P402 (or RSPH equivalent)

* Strong track record working as an Asbestos Surveyor, ideally within a UKAS accredited company

* Robust technical knowledge, including the HSG 264 guidelines

* Experience working across a varied portfolio of sites

* Able to produce comprehensive survey reports

* Good IT and written ability

The Role:

* Travelling across the South East, to a range of commercial, domestic and local authority client sites

* Conducting full management, refurbishment and demolition asbestos surveys

* Carrying out re-inspection surveys

* Safely obtaining samples from site and delivering to the laboratory

* Producing technical survey reports to outline areas of concern and recommendations

* Meeting with clients to establish their requirements and provide survey feedback

* Working to set deadlines

* Representing the company in a professional manner
