Role Purpose and Key Responsibilities
As the Procurement Lead, you will head our strategic procurement function, driving best practice across all spend categories while building strong internal relationships and embedding clear, structured procurement processes. Reporting to the Group Finance Director, you will shape and deliver our procurement strategy, develop sourcing plans, enhance supplier performance management and ensure procurement is fully aligned with business needs and governance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead engagement with senior stakeholders across Digital, Facilities, People, Finance, Change and Experience to develop a clear, written procurement strategy and sourcing plans.
• Serve as the procurement lead on Portfolio Board outcomes, ensuring alignment with business priorities and challenging unplanned demand.
• Increase the presence, influence and impact of procurement across the organisation through proactive engagement and stakeholder coaching.
• Drive improvements, innovation and efficiencies within procurement through strong category expertise and strategic supplier relationships.
• Implement effective Supplier Relationship Management, ensuring compliance with governance, clear milestones, robust SoWs and value-for-money outcomes.
• Partner with PMO to ensure projects are accurately captured in the New Product Master Plan and aligned to procurement strategy and supplier selection.

About You
You are an experienced procurement professional with a strong track record of leading and developing high-performing procurement functions. You combine commercial acumen with strategic thinking, stakeholder engagement and hands-on procurement expertise, and you excel at building constructive relationships across a complex, matrixed business.
Essential Skills & Experience:
• Demonstrable commercial negotiation experience and deep understanding of the full procurement lifecycle.
• Proven track record in leading and developing procurement functions within a global organisation, with recent hands-on project delivery.
• Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to engage senior leaders across multiple directorates.
• MCIPS qualified.
• Experience implementing supplier and performance management frameworks, driving efficiencies and improving commercial outcomes.
• Ability to analyse data, forecast needs and manage contractual KPIs to support informed decision-making.
