Role Overview

As the PPA Cover Teacher, you will:

• Deliver planned lessons across various subjects for Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 during teachers’ PPA time.
• Ensure continuity of learning and maintain a positive, structured classroom environment.
• Support pupils’ engagement, behaviour, and progress during lessons.
• Collaborate with class teachers to follow lesson plans and use resources effectively.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching in primary education across KS1 and KS2.
• Strong classroom management, communication, and organisational skills.
• Reliable, flexible, and able to adapt to a variety of teaching situations.
• Passionate about supporting pupils’ learning and wellbeing.
