Finance Officer - Ealing
A well-resourced primary school in Ealing is seeking a conscientious Finance Officer to join the office team from January 2026. The successful Finance Officer will take responsibility for purchase ledger processing, income recording, bank reconciliations and supporting payroll input. This Finance Officer role in Ealing is central to accurate monthly reporting; the appointed Finance Officer will receive a full handover and induction prior to January 2026 and will be fully operational from January 2026.

The Finance Officer will work with the School Business Manager to maintain management information, process supplier payments, manage lettings income and support the month-end close. The Ealing school values a Finance Officer who is numerate, methodical and proactive in improving office systems. The Finance Officer will support audits and ensure financial records for the school are robust and current.

Experience and qualifications
- Recent experience in transactional finance or school finance; confidence in reconciliations and supplier payments as a Finance Officer.
- Proficiency with accounting packages and Excel; strong attention to detail and timeliness.
- Good communication and organisational skills to liaise with staff, suppliers and governors in Ealing.
- Comfortable starting January 2026 and taking part in pre-start induction activity before January 2026.
