Band6/7:Locum Dispensing Pharmacist

Job Title: Locum Dispensing Pharmacist Banding : 6/7 Location : London Start: ASAP Duration : 3months Rate : £25-£37 Working hours: Monday & Friday, 8.30 – 6pm

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dispensing Pharmacist to join our team in London. This role is ideal for a motivated individual who is passionate about providing high-quality pharmaceutical care. You will be working in a dynamic environment, ensuring the safe and effective dispensing of medications to our patients.

What will your responsibilities be :

Accurately dispensing medications and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines. Providing expert advice on drug therapy and medication management. Managing medication inventories and ensuring the safe storage of pharmaceuticals. Conducting medication reviews and identifying potential drug interactions. Educating patients on the proper use of medications and potential side effects. Collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes. Participating in quality improvement initiatives and contributing to the continuous improvement of pharmacy services. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records. Ensuring the pharmacy operates efficiently and effectively during your shifts.

Qualifications and Experiences:

• Registered Pharmacist with GPHC
• Community or outpatient experience (suitable for Band 6)
• Hospital inpatient experience (suitable for Band 7)
• Clinical trials experience (suitable for Band 7)
• Strong clinical knowledge and expertise in pharmacotherapy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
