As an embedded partner within assigned transformation workstreams, the Senior Change Management Specialist plays a critical role in driving change readiness, stakeholder engagement, and sustainable adoption. The position also contributes to building a consistent, practical, and scalable change management capability across GFS. Combining strategic thinking with a hands-on approach, the role translates complex transformation programs into clear actions, measurable outcomes, and tangible business benefits, ensuring lasting organizational impact and successful delivery of change objectives.

  • Coach sponsors and senior leaders on visible, active and effective sponsorship.
  • Support leaders with messaging, talking points and engagement approaches that make the change simple, relevant and actionable.
  • Build trusted relationships with business leaders, SMEs, project teams and impacted teams.

  • Assess adoption barriers, resistance themes and change saturation across impacted stakeholder groups.
  • Provide clear readiness insights to TMO and workstream leadership.
  • Develop communication and engagement plans that make complex initiatives easy to understand.
  • Partner with Internal Communications, P&C Business Partners, SMEs and business leaders to co-create practical change materials.
  • Partner with workstream owners to define training, capability-building and reinforcement needs.
  • Ensure impacted teams are equipped to operate successfully in the future state.
  • Partner with workstream owners to define adoption measures and success indicators aligned to business outcomes.
  • Monitor adoption after implementation and identify where reinforcement is needed.
  • Partner with delivery teams to ensure intended benefits are realized, not just planned.
  • Capture lessons learned and continuously improve the change approach.
  • Contribute to a consistent GFS change methodology, toolkit, templates and reporting approach.
  • Support change governance, intake and tiering of projects based on change impact.
  • Mentor change managers and change champions as the function scales.
  • Promote a pragmatic, business-focused change discipline across the transformation portfolio.

What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need?

  • 7-10+ years of change management, transformation, organizational development, communications or related experience.
  • Experience supporting enterprise-wide, multi-workstream, or global transformation initiatives.
  • Demonstrated success leading change for operating model, process, technology, role or organizational change.
  • Strong experience working directly with senior leaders and executive sponsors.
  • Ability to turn ambiguity into practical plans, actionable messaging and measurable readiness outcomes.
  • Experience working within a TMO, PMO, transformation office or enterprise change function.
  • Prosci, ADKAR change management certification.
  • Experience building change methods, templates, dashboards or adoption reporting practices.

  • Solution-oriented: identifies risks but focuses on how to move forward.
  • Embedded and collaborative: works closely with project teams while maintaining a portfolio-wide view.
  • Outcome-focused: connects change activity to adoption, business readiness and realized value.
