A warm, calm, and energetic Live-in Nanny is sought by a welcoming family in Notting Hill, London, to provide sole-charge care for their 7-year-old daughter. This is a long-term position for a nanny who can provide consistent, nurturing support while helping the child manage her daily routines and activities.
The child is bright, funny, and highly energetic, with ASD and ADHD. She enjoys science, music, Transformers, comics, and outdoor play. The ideal candidate will be calm, patient, and able to support her emotional regulation using a low-arousal and non-confrontational approach.
Working arrangement: The schedule changes weekly due to the parents' co-parenting arrangement.
- Term time: Working with the mother 4 to 5 days per week, with weekdays or weekends alternating with the father
- School holidays: Week-on, week-off rotation
- Salary is guaranteed in full each week, including quieter weeks and scheduled time off
Duties include:
- Providing sole-charge care for the 7-year-old
- Supporting the child's emotional regulation and development
- Following OT and SEN strategies, with training provided
- Planning engaging, age-appropriate, screen-free activities
- Managing the child's calendar across two households
- Coordinating school, clubs, therapists, and activities
- Liaising with the father's nanny to maintain consistency
- Supporting daily routines and personal care
- Helping with the family's new puppy alongside the dog walker and trainer
The ideal candidate will have experience with neurodivergent children, particularly ASD and ADHD , and be open to working alongside an occupational therapist and SEN team. Excellent spoken and written English is required.
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service and Paediatric First Aid are required. A driving licence is preferred.
Accommodation: Private bedroom, bathroom, and kitchenette, with bills and food included.
The household is well staffed, with a near full-time housekeeper and a dog walker/trainer.
