This is an exceptional opportunity to make an immediate impact within a fully inclusive and socially responsible business, taking the lead on the setting of central pricing bases and the agreement of product terms across the Group.
Taking ownership of and delivering pricing reviews, annual experience investigations and recommendations for pricing assumptions changes, you will simultaneously monitor emerging risk trends, new money rates, expenses and cost of capital (recommending pricing adjustments where needed).
You will also have a highly visible and influential role to play within pricing governance, preparing clear reports and presenting recommendations to senior forums and committees.
In addition, you will be instrumental in maintaining strong controls across pricing processes while supporting pricing and risk selection strategic initiatives.
With strong pricing experience coupled with the technical confidence and agility to review assumptions, investigate experience and deliver robust recommendations, the successful candidate will be adept at balancing technical rigour with commercial judgement.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, intellectual curiosity and people management skills are likewise essential as are leadership and emotional intelligence qualities which will help you nurture a close-knit team through providing guidance and identifying growth opportunities.
