The school and role — KS1 Teacher overview: this KS1 Teacher position sits in a supportive, well-resourced KS1 phase. The KS1 Teacher will deliver systematic phonics, early years transition work and a creative curriculum for Years 1 and 2. From the January 2026 start, the KS1 Teacher will lead guided reading, deliver targeted small-group work and use assessment to personalise learning. This Full-Time KS1 Teacher role requires a confident practitioner who will work closely with teaching assistants and phase leaders. The KS1 Teacher will be expected to attend training sessions scheduled before and after the January 2026 start, and to contribute to parental engagement events soon after the January 2026 start.
KS1 Teacher — candidate essentials: QTS and experience teaching across Key Stage 1 as a KS1 Teacher; strong phonics practice and ability to plan engaging lessons; a collaborative KS1 Teacher who will model inclusive behaviour strategies. The KS1 Teacher will commit to the January 2026 start, attend induction and CPD in the weeks around the January 2026 start, and fulfil a Full-Time timetable thereafter.
